Amanda Marquis, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Amanda Marquis grew up in Merrimack, NH. She went to Penn State University and graduated with a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She pursued her Doctorate in Audiology at the University of South Florida. She has worked as an Audiologist in Texas and Pennsylvania but moved back to New Hampshire in 2010 to be closer to family.
Emily Troutman, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Emily Troutman received her Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire in 2009. She majored in communication sciences and disorders and minored in deaf studies/American Sign Language. Dr. Troutman enrolled in a vigorous four-year graduate program at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she obtained her Doctor of Audiology in 2013. She is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire and is a member of the national American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
Casey Curran, Au.D
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Casey Curran grew up in Massachusetts. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Assumption College, majoring in human services and rehabilitation studies, with a concentration in communication sciences and disorders. Dr. Curran then went on to earn her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of South Florida. She completed her clinical residency at Gardner Audiology in Tampa, FL, and is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). After five years in Florida, Dr. Curran is excited to be back in New England, closer to her family.
Alana Salazar, M.A., F-AAA
Alana Salazar is an experienced audiologist who has been practicing for more than 20 years in a variety of settings. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in speech, language and hearing through the University of Kansas and her master’s degree in audiology from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Her career in Audiology began in Salem, Massachusetts, where she completed her certificate in clinical competency (CCC’s) through the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) working for Massachusetts General Hospital for Children at North Shore Medical Center.
Ms. Salazar has held various positions within the field of Audiology from pediatric, educational and developmental audiologist to regional manager with one of the world’s largest hearing aid manufacturers. She also has extensive experience with diagnostic audiology as well as hearing aid selection, fitting and verification of all ages.
Ms. Salazar has been a resident of Bedford, Massachusetts for more than15 years. She lives there with her son Patrick and their cat Noisy, who always lives up to his name. She is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Maguatte Mbengue, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Maguatte Mbengue grew up locally in Leominster, MA. Dr. Mbengue obtained both her bachelor’s degree in psychology and Doctorate in Audiology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. While getting her education, she worked as a nurse’s assistant and childcare worker. Inspired by the experiences of her co-workers, she created a study tool for home healthcare workers to learn more about hearing loss and how to care for their client’s hearing aids. During her one-year residency at Rhode Island Hospital, Dr. Mbengue took part in a training program called “Leadership Education Neurodevelopmental and other related Disabilities (LEND)” and worked with a variety of health care professionals to become leaders in their fields and advocates for patients with neurodevelopmental disabilities. She further gained experience providing audiological care for neurodivergent children and working with ethnically, linguistically and culturally diverse patient populations in the city of Providence. Dr. Mbengue enjoys spending her free time drawing, playing or watching tennis, and learning different languages.
Danielle Cuozzo, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Danielle Cuozzo grew up in New York. She earned her dachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island, majoring in communicative disorders. Dr. Cuozzo then went on to earn her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. While at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, she researched comparisons between social and emotional perceptions in adults with and without hearing aids. Dr. Cuozzo has experience with advanced diagnostic testing, digital hearing aid technology, central auditory processing and pediatric audiology. During her clinical residency, she volunteered each week at the local senior center conducting free hearing tests and troubleshooting hearing aids. Her favorite part about being an audiologist is seeing patients’ reactions to wearing hearing aids for the first time. Dr. Cuozzo is currently licensed to practice audiology in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and is a member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
Daniel Hendrix, MS
Daniel Hendrix received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia in Canada in 1995. He majored in linguistics and minored in South Asian Studies. He subsequently obtained his Master of Science in Audiology from the University of British Columbia Department of Medicine in 2000. He has three adult children, one in Canada and the other two living in Boston. He is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
